Round Robin Meetings
New Format for 2024!
This year, IBC is switching it up and taking a break from the scheduled round robin meetings. In the spirit of Total Engagement, Preferred Suppliers will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with all distributor members at the National Conference ensuring everyone gets the most of out this years’ conference.
Exhibitors: IBC has once again partnered with Alliance Expo for our Round Robin meetings to be able to offer expo management, specialty décor and shipping/freight options (as opposed to shipping to the hotel). More information will be available shortly.

Troubleshooting
Should you not be able to locate your email invitation from Alliance, we are happy to assist. Please confirm the following first.
- Check your Spam/Junk folder. Individual security software settings and/or company firewalls sometimes prevent the email from reaching the recipient’s email until manually allowed.
- Ensure that you are the primary contact for your organization as registered with show management.
- Though not required, exhibitors may find it helpful to add the Exhibitor Services email above to their safe senders list in advance.
About the Round Robin Meetings
- Spacious ballroom format makes it easier for members to get from meeting-to-meeting quickly and efficiently.
- 10’x 10′ tabletop space will be furnished with a draped 6’ table, chairs and privacy partitions; electricity is not included.
- Since this is not a full trade show format, IBC recommends suppliers bring minimal trade show materials for use at tabletop space (e.g. pack as you would for in-suite meetings).
- If not using Alliance Expo for shipping, the hotel can store packages shipped ahead of the show. Suppliers are responsible for getting their packages to their booths as well as return shipping. Packages handled by the hotel may be subject to additional fees.
- Each Round Robin meeting is approximately 10 minutes. IBC will notify attendees at the beginning and end of each appointment.
- Beverage stations will be available.
How to Prepare for Round Robin Meetings
This year’s Round Robin Meetings are only 10 minutes long, ensuring that every distributor can meet with every supplier. To use this time wisely, we encourage you to engage in some pre-planning by bringing your sales numbers. Additionally, we have prepared booth guidelines for both distributors and suppliers to facilitate meaningful discussions.
Consider discussing the following topics during your meetings: sales support, reasons for any decline in sales, success stories that highlight experienced growth, and any delivery or customer service issues that may have arisen. To maximize the effectiveness of your meetings, we advise talking with your staff prior to the conference. Frontline teams, such as outside sales, customer service, and accounting and purchasing departments, can provide valuable insights and feedback that will enrich your discussions. By being well-prepared, you can foster productive conversations and build stronger partnerships.
